My Lighthouse

Drifting in darkness, hopelessly lost.
At the sea's mercy, churning and tossed.
Knowing unless someone guides me to shore,
I won't survive on my own any more.

Then through the darkness I spotted a light,
A symbol of hope in the darkness of night.
Now I can follow the light that I see.
The Lighthouse is shining to rescue me.

Light in my darkness, you showed me the way.
You searched and rescued when I knelt to pray.
Once lost in darkness to helplessly roam,
Now led by your light I can find my way home.

Light of the world you came down from above.
Entered my darkness to fill it with love.
Beacon of light, You were hung on a tree,
Now shining from Sonrise to eternity.

Light in my darkness, you showed me the way.
You searched and rescued when I knelt to pray.
You were my lighthouse when all hope was gone.
You led me from darkness to unending dawn.
